An aviation medical directory beyond AMEs

Find the right aviation medical clinician.
See more than a star rating.

Search FAA AMEs, HIMS AMEs, aviation psychiatrists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, and treatment programs in one place. When pilot experience data exists, Compass adds a separate evidence-informed review profile with right of reply, evidence confidence, and repeated-pattern thresholds—not just a simple star score.

The review layer

A directory anyone can use. Reviews that mature with the evidence.

The directory helps pilots find the right aviation medical professional even when no Compass review exists. Once approved experiences arrive, the separate review profile becomes more specific as evidence accumulates.

01

Experiences become structured data

Reports are reviewed, de-identified, and broken into standardized positive and concern observations before they can affect a profile.

02

Early profiles show what is known

Approved report counts, reviewed signal counts, and evidence strength can be displayed before a provider has enough data for a Practice Rating.

03

Patterns require repetition

Named strengths and concerns are published only after the same observation repeats enough to meet the public-pattern threshold.

Designed for both sides

Useful to airmen. Understandable to providers.

Transparency has to work in both directions or it is not transparency.

For airmen

Find clinicians and treatment programs first. Then, when Compass review data exists, compare approved experience volume, evidence strength, ratings, and repeated patterns.

For clinicians & programs

Profiles distinguish early information from established patterns, preserve right-of-reply, display statements when supplied, and record material rating changes over time.

Privacy is built into the model. Aeromedical Compass does not publish reporter identities or individual patient stories. Specific one-off observation labels remain private until they repeat enough to qualify as public patterns.
